Emel Tunaboylu

Emel Tunaboylu was born and raised in Istanbul and now lives in the Aegean region of Turkey. She studied communication before completing further training in oil painting and drawing, later finishing her education at ITU Fine Arts University.

Emel finds inspiration in nature, music and philosophy, and describes herself as a Mediterranean person, bringing the lifestyle and tastes of that world into her art. As founding partner of her own agency, she collaborates with brands, stores and curators, approaching each piece with care, mindful of the joy and motivation art can bring to everyday life.
