Accessibility Statement
Style My Wall wants everyone to be able to browse and buy from our website, including people with disability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the international standard for accessible websites used in Australia, the European Union (EN 301 549, under the European Accessibility Act) and the United States.
Where we are now
Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Most of the site meets the standard, but some parts do not yet, and we are working through them.
What we do
- A "skip to content" link on every page.
- Text descriptions (alt text) on our product images.
- Size guides written out as text tables, not only as pictures.
- Regular automated accessibility checks of our key pages: home, collections, product pages and cart.
Known limitations
- Some buttons, links and options on our product pages are not yet announced clearly by screen readers, for example the image zoom button and the frame choices.
- Some light grey text, such as crossed-out prices, has less contrast than the standard asks for.
- Our Upload Your Own photo tool relies on dragging to crop, which can be hard to use without a mouse or touch screen.
- Some content comes from other companies, such as customer review photos, payment pages and chat tools. We ask these providers to meet the same standard.
