Mareike Böhmer

Mareike Böhmer is a freelance artist from Germany working across abstract art and nature photography. She began her creative journey in 2012 with vibrant, geometric abstract graphics, before her style softened through frequent travels to Scandinavia, bringing more organic forms and a gentler colour palette to her work. In the past year and a half she has expanded from paper-based pieces into larger-scale paintings on canvas.

Her photography is defined by minimalist compositions and distinctive lighting, reflecting the meditative balance she finds in nature. Mareike's artwork is celebrated internationally and available through various online stores, with her pieces featured in interior magazines including ELLE Decoration, Schöner Wohnen and VTwonen, and included in select collections at IKEA.
