Rosana Laiz García is a Spanish architect and artist, originally from the small village of Los Barrios de Gordón and now living in León. She has drawn since childhood, moving from sketches of medieval princesses to fashion designs, and later to buildings and street views while studying architecture, including early studies of Greek and Roman statues in charcoal and pastel.
Her work today is diverse and eclectic, spanning type based design, painting and digital illustration. She favours minimalism in her design work, vibrant colours and bold strokes in her paintings, and clean, simple shapes with solid colours in her modern digital illustrations.
